About Us

A very warm welcome to St Saviour's CE Primary School's website.

The aim of this website is to introduce you to St. Saviour’s School, its philosophy, organisation and how we care for your child.

The School is staffed by an enthusiastic body of teachers and support staff, all of whom are dedicated to the pursuit of excellence. There is a great feeling of warmth and friendliness at St. Saviour’s, which is apparent immediately upon entering the building.

We have very strong links with St. Saviour’s CE Church on Warwick Avenue and there is a weekly School Mass which all children take part in. Many families regularly worship at the church on Sundays and many children take an active part in the services. Our school choir regularly sings during communion and children are prepared for Holy Communion and Confirmation each year.

We expect the children to behave in a courteous and sensible manner and are proud of the positive way in which they respond. Each classroom is a hive of activity, which is reflected in the exciting displays that can be seen all around the building. Great strides have already been made to improve the playground facilities for the children and even more exciting projects are planned for the future.

We are proud of the values we hold most dear and the exemplary students that pass through our doors. Our emphasis upon learning, teaching and outstanding behaviour is reflected in each and every Ofsted report and our pupils are also renowned for their success in extra-curricular sporting activities at a local and national level.

We have high expectations and high aspirations for every one of our students. We encourage our students to be individuals and to take responsibility for their choices as well as teaching them about tolerance and respect towards others.

My aim is to ensure that each one has access to the best possible opportunities and experiences during their education, so that they can reach their full potential and are better prepared for the future.
