The school has a long tradition of working in close partnership with the two Parish Churches of Little Venice, St. Saviour’s on Warwick Avenue and St. Mary’s Paddington Green.
Father Gary Bradley, the Parish Priest, is the School’s Chairman of Governors and, together, he and Ms. Woodford have ensured that St. Saviour’s has grown from strength to strength for nearly twenty years.
Children are prepared to make their First Communion from Year Three onwards and lessons take place during school time.
In Year Six, children can also make their Confirmation with lessons being held at church on Sundays and a follow up lesson in school.
The School joins the Parish in charitable collections for The Passage which is a charity based in Victoria that looks after homeless people.
To link with the Harvest Festival, children are given a full tube of Smarties to show that they are loved and cared for.
Once the Smarties are eaten, the children are asked to fill the tube with money. This regularly raises over £1000 of much needed funds for the charity.
Children also bring new toothbrushes to decorate the school Christmas tree and we are usually able to deliver over 300 to Victoria in January.
